Up to $1,000 worth of shopping vouchers are up for grabs this May as part of the METRONET Buy Local, Celebrate Kelmscott rewards program.
Residents in Kelmscott and neighbouring suburbs will receive a rewards card in their letterbox, and by spending $10 or more at participating Kelmscott businesses during May will receive a sticker and after collecting five stickers, can enter the draw to win shopping vouchers.
The rewards program is free for locals to participate and now that work on the Denny Avenue Level Crossing Project is complete and Kelmscott Town Centre has been revitalised, it’s a great place to shop, dine and access local services.
Business Armadale Chamber of Commerce President, Henry Zelones praised the program for helping small businesses in Kelmscott encourage residents to shop locally.
“Supporting local businesses is good for the whole community. It creates local jobs and puts money back into the local community.
“And it’s great for residents. Having shops close to home makes shopping convenient, helps strengthen community connections and ensures the suburb is more vibrant,” Henry said.
The Buy Local, Celebrate Kelmscott rewards program runs from 1 to 31 May.
